When i play music its playing slow and goes jittery and "tin-ie"

How can i fix it?
It only happened last night – it was working perfectly before that

Iv cleared space on the hard drive by deleting photos and music and uninstalling old unused programs.
Have de-fraged and everything

And have tried playing music whilst nothing else is running

- still its slow and jittery
