I’m looking for some romantic music. But understand that if i ask for romantic music i actually ask for romantic music from the 18th century.

Although I acknowledge this music as romantic music am looking for something quite different.

I love the classical instruments, cello, violin, piano and guitar. but i really love them if they are used in subtle moments. I have a hard time describing what I’m looking for so I’ll give an example.

The music director Blake Neely of the TV Series Brothers and sisters is a great example of that. Even is he uses some synthesizer techniques that is the emotion I’m looking for. I’m looking for that kind of music. Soft, emotional, romantic subtle mood setting music. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

I really like this guy. We only have been in a date one time (new year’s eve). So i’m planning to invite him this weekend for a romantic candle light dinner in my apartement. But yet i don’t have any idea what to cook.
