Musicians who play the blues usually follow a format of 4 bars of the I chord, 2 bars of the IV chord, 2 bars of the I chord, 1 bar of the V7 chord, 1 bar of the IV chord, then finish with 2 bars of the I chord. Rinse and repeat.
星をめざしてREVIVAL! Johnny’s boys are just so addictive, aren’t they? Sheet music: www.sendspace.com Thanks to my friend M of 知4 for doing up the sheet music. There are a few errors which neither of us can really be bothered to correct, so here they are: 1. In the first bar, the Bb and C (left hand) at the bottom of the chords should be played an octave above. 2. In bar 21, the left hand note is supposed to be an Eb. 3. Bars 30-35, ties are missing in the left hand, you can write them in by following the previous left hand pattern. 4. At Bar 37, there should be a key change back to Ab major. 5. In Bar 28, the Ab’s should be tied.

One of the greatest sonatas ever. Sonata nº 29, Hammerklavier, op.106. Ludwig van Beethoven. I Allegro Performed by Alfred Brendel and recorded in 1970. ENJOY IT!! From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia en.wikipedia.org Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 29 in B flat major, opus 106, known as the Große Sonate für das Hammerklavier, or more simply as the Hammerklavier, is widely considered to be one of the most important works of the composer’s third period and one of the great piano sonatas. It is considered Beethoven’s single most difficult composition for the piano, with the possible exception of the Diabelli Variations, and it remains one of the most challenging solo works in the entire piano repertoire to this day. Composition The sonata was written primarily from the summer of 1817 to the late autumn of 1818, towards the end of a fallow period in Beethoven’s compositional career, and represents the spectacular emergence of many of the themes that were to recur in Beethoven’s late period: the reinvention of traditional forms, such as sonata form; a brusque humor; and a return to pre-classical compositional traditions, including an exploration of modal harmony and reinventions of the fugue within classical forms. The Hammerklavier also set precedents for the length of solo compositions (it runs for approximately 37 minutes, if the tempo is adhered to exactly); while orchestral works such as symphonies and concerti had often contained movements of 15 or even 20 …
I’ve always wanted to be able to play this song but unfortunately it was meant for guitar so I never could. I made up this piano version and I don’t think it sounds as good as when the song is played with guitar but hopefully you’ll still like it. Elliott Smith was an amazing person and this is for him.
