I wanted to know what type of music is the theme song from friends, the song has this guitar sounds which gives me a feeling and a rush of memories from the early 90’s although the feeling is kind of distorted now since friends have been dragged all the way to the present day, there is a few songs that I know if I hear I will remember and I will be really happy to hear. They are some where in between the 80’s – 90’s with this guitar and trumpets sounds, is easy listening music, not so crazy .

i was listening to some music online, "My Sweet Song" by Toby Lightman to be exact. and i REALLY like it.
its almost like the artist is singing only to you.
i also really like the kind of music you would hear in a coffeeshop…. or just easy listening music

I’m looking for some romantic music. But understand that if i ask for romantic music i actually ask for romantic music from the 18th century.
Although I acknowledge this music as romantic music am looking for something quite different.
I love the classical instruments, cello, violin, piano and guitar. but i really love them if they are used in subtle moments. I have a hard time describing what I’m looking for so I’ll give an example.
The music director Blake Neely of the TV Series Brothers and sisters is a great example of that. Even is he uses some synthesizer techniques that is the emotion I’m looking for. I’m looking for that kind of music. Soft, emotional, romantic subtle mood setting music. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

for my assignment i’ve to like a make a tv episode of these two people breaking up, and this is a flashback scene, in black and white. its about 20ish seconds and i dont know what sound to play during this 20 second period. i need some kind of music that goes during this 20 seconds… i was thinking maybe slow, sad instrumental, maybe piano music? any reccomendations?

I have always been annoyed by this genre of music but I guess some people like this kind of music. What would be the age groups that have a preference for this sort of music? If there are any young people who like this sort of music(which I doubt), how would you describe them?
