Reasons for listening to music (not genres) or to ask in a different way, why do you listen to music?

I’m making a playlist, and like reasons for listening to songs, like Beyonce having a dancing beat (Sweet Dreams) while another is like a soft soothing melody/empowerment (Halo).

Please contribute! Right now my list is this:
1. Easy-Listening (something to do while listening to music, like Jack Johnson)
2. Dancing (obviously)
