And if you do, who are your favorite artists?
Some of my favorite music genres are alternative rock, hard rock, classic rock, indie, heavy metal, punk, and rap. But music from the 30’s-60’s such as jazz, blues, rock & roll, easy listening, soul, folk, bluegrass and classical are the genres I listen to the most.
I’m 19 years old, and I think it’s a shame that most teens my age don’t listen to older music. But I understand every person has an opinion and not everyone has the same tastes in music. Mainly I think it’s because they haven’t grown up with it and haven’t been exposed to older music. What do you think?

Those are 2 of my favorite songs ever!
& I’m looking for more like it.
Idk why, but I’m not really sure what the genre is.
I’ve been told its alternative… but doesn’t alternative deal more with rock?
some sort of easy listening music?
Anyways, would you recommend some for me?
Thanksssss

I’ve become rather hooked on the soothing, easy-listening musicloop on Weatherscan; as a matter of fact, sometimes, I just keep that channel on my TV, only to listen to the music.
But it would be nice to be able to listen to it without the occasional "Your local dopler radar" or "Local airport delays" voice overs; does anyone know if the songs featured on their music loop are available on CDs, or for downloading?

I do listen to traditional jazz and show tunes more than anything else. At times I’ll listen to easy listening on music cable channel.
My question: Whether it be Percy Faith, Bert Kaempfert, Montavani etc. conducting the orchestra most of this credit should go to the arranger, correct?
Great answer; but the whole piece goes nowhere (I’m guessing) without that arrangement.

I listen to mellow jazz when cleaning, and both relax me. After cleaning, I feel better and think clearer. What about all of you? Does music make it easier for you to clean? Do you enjoy cleaning for different reasons, or hate it no matter what? Thanks
p.s. Slow jazz is the only music I can listen to when cleaning that doesn’t distract me, or make me feel like dancing or doing something else.

Me and my friends are doing the talent show and I know that you can mix music on the the computer i just dont know how I tried iTunes but you have to go through all this stuff that I dont know. I am basically trying to mix a few songs together w/o listening to the whole thing and having it on one track. If any of you have ever been to or heard cheerleading/dancing music and how it transitions then you know what I’m talking bout. So if anyone knows how to or knows someone who knows how or anything please answer my question.

Angels singing, people wearing white robes, listening to harps and "easy listening" music. Maybe some angel preaching scripture or something.
Of course, Im not saying this is what actually happens. Im just wondering how many of you would want this.
