I’m NOT listening to any loud, screaming, death metal, or hard rock, or anything. It’s simple easy listening teen music. This is the playlist:
Lemon-Katy Rose
Overdrive-Katy Rose
Explain it to me-Liz Phair
Teaching Myself to Dream-Katy Rose
Craving-t.A.T.u.
Breathe-Anna Nalick
Catalyst-Anna Nalick
Wreck of the Day-Anna Nalick

Now, last night I felt REALLY tired, because I stayed up later than usual to watch a movie that was coming on that I’d wanted to see since I was born. Then, I started listening to these songs while finishing up a few more things I had to do on my computer, and the next thing I knew, it was past midnight! I didn’t even feel tired!
I wasn’t doing much on my computer to keep me up, just updating my myspace, which took three seconds, and checking my questions here on Y!A.

Is it possible that these songs kept me awake? I’ve got large connections to these songs, and can relate to most of them, so maybe that’s it? I don’t know.
Sorry about the section!!! Wasn’t paying atttention(I’m listening to the songs again…)

What do you think about the band Meshuggah?

They are my favorite band but i just want to know what people’s opinion about them and anything else you might say about them. Plus, what do you think about the lyrics? PS it is not easy listening music.

The song Imagine by John Lennon has some interesting quirks to it as far as recording style is concerned. i Do like how the 2nd piano comes in after 8 bars to fill it out but what type of mic was used, in what type of room, how far away, any processing or effects used? Etc… Im super curious.

Me and my friends are doing the talent show and I know that you can mix music on the the computer i just dont know how I tried iTunes but you have to go through all this stuff that I dont know. I am basically trying to mix a few songs together w/o listening to the whole thing and having it on one track. If any of you have ever been to or heard cheerleading/dancing music and how it transitions then you know what I’m talking bout. So if anyone knows how to or knows someone who knows how or anything please answer my question. (Remember I said easy!!!)

How hard is it to go deaf from loud music?

Hi, I listen to my music very loud through my earphones all the time. People often tell me that it is damaging my ears because it is so loud. I was just wondering, is it that easy to go deaf from listening to your music through earphones? Or is it better through speakers?

I keep seeing it described as both a bar and a venue, so I’m not sure if you have to be 21 to come and enjoy the music.

People tell me that I have a unique sound and love listening to me and they assume I’m always listening to music by Pierre Fournier or Piatigorsky but I only listen to something once and the style is easy to make my own. Listening assignments are hard to do for me because I get upset when I listen to any classical music or the cell by itself. It’s like an inner rage. What is this? Do any of the other musicians out there get this feeling too?
